The food blog, Bell & Basket was created by Michelle Berg. As the daughter of a chef and restaurateur, her love for cooking and NYC’s food culture runs deep. She channels her obsession for cooking, baking and traveling into Bell & Basket. Her love for the creative process is reflected from "script to screen", as she tests, tastes and writes her way to delicious.
I recently has the pleasure to collaborate with her as she relaunched her blog. She was looking for a unique logo that aptly reflected the spirit of her endeavor. I asked for some inspiration shots. Photographer Colin Berg captured the essence of Michelle, as she filled her bike basket with all of the things that matter–a baguette, tulips, an antique frame, scallions and a few acorn squashes for good measure.
